Resources For Educators
The City Nature Challenge: Baton Rouge is part of an international competition that will raise your students’ awareness of the diversity of living organisms around them and throughout the world. Using the iNaturalist app, students will have the opportunity to contribute valuable citizen science data from home and school during this exciting global event.
Follow-up lessons provide numerous opportunities to practice skills in reflecting on data that is important to their local ecosystem as well as global implications such as migration patterns and effects of climate change.
